Yoga is the way to unlocking and releasing any issues and tensions of the body and psyche to bring about physical and mental health, self acceptance, self empowerment, happiness and freedom.

YOGA FOR SELF EMPOWERMENT AND CHANGE
We all want to see change and complete freedom for girls. We all want a world where girls have the same freedom and opportunities as men. We want to see uplifting, positive change in the way media portrays girls. We want to see more girls grow up to become leaders in all areas of society.
At the base level, this change has to start with girls growing up to be confident, secure, self accepting, self nourishing and self empowered in who they naturally are.
Reading about change, thinking about change, being inspired by others stories of change, liking organisations for change on FB and talking with friends about change is a start and an important part of the journey…
But to positively change the way a girl feels and thinks about herself and empower her starts with her perception and experience of her body. Girls need to have a healthy body image, feel comfortable and accepting of their bodies.
Girls can learn to express a healthy, grounded experience of their bodies through yoga practice, which also has direct positive effect on their minds and emotions as well.
Then girls can become and represent the change they want to see in themselves, others and their world.
